Kina's Lore

Kina wasn't like the others, she is a hybrid, both werewolf and Dragon genetics. losing both parents at a young age she got into a lot of trouble as a kid. Until she was taken under Batman's cape so to speak. Quickly learning how to use her reckless energy for good and learning how to fight to protect herself. Quickly becoming attached to her big brother Jason, until he went missing. She blamed Bruce for that and spent the next 5 years resenting and hating him for letting Jason die. About a year after Jason's disappearance she also disappeared. Sustaining a severe injury that almost resulted in death, leading to her memory being wiped completely. She doesn't remember her childhood, only her brother.After being found half dead in a ditch on the side of the road by the Arkham Knight, she was taken in and nursed back to health unknowing that it was her big brother the whole time. She trained, worked her way up the ranks and became the Knight's Second in Command (2IC), fueled by hate for Batman, those were the only pieces of her past life she remembered, that he had failed to save her brother, and carried that revenge just as much as the Knight did. Fast forward to the invasion, learning Jason was still alive and had been by her side for the years she's been part of the Militia. Rightfully angry and hurt that he had kept himself hidden from her she lashed out, this is where her true nature comes to light. The suppressed side of her that she had been afraid to let loose because of her mixed genetics. After a tearful reunion and the Militia being taken over by Deathstroke because of their absence, she took it back from Slade, becoming the official Commander in Jason's stead.About 6 months after the destruction of their home, she was contacted by Derek Simmons about a job across the country. Put it simply they were hired as glorified security guards to protect a lab that was housing Bio-Organic Weapons in development. This is where Leon comes into play, assuming that the agent was an enemy Kina almost killed him. But couldn't. Something stopped her that night. Once the truth about the job came to light Kina broke the contract herself, not willing to be part of another war after the Knight incident with Scarecrow. Soon after returning back to their temporary headquarters she was approached by the agent. They talked, a lot. Eventually they exchanged details and Leon - as awkward as he usually is - asked Kina out on a date.Their relationship became official after testing the waters for a good month, finding complimenting each others personalities and similar morals and beliefs. As their relationship grew the couple became inseparable. Kina had believed that she had truly found her soulmate. She made the decision to step down as Commander full time, once she ensured that her brother was well enough to take charge again. Running it part time she became an agent for the Division of Security Operations and a representative for the Militia alongside USSTRATCOM and the BSAA. She was there through everything Leon went through, both good and bad. In turn, on the mission to Save Ashley from Los Illuminados, they were both infected with Las Plagas, and sadly Luis' machine didn't kill it off completely. Returning home after almost dying and infected had really opened their eyes that they might not make it home to each other one day. So they got married. Leon is Kina's world, her love her light her guardian angel. Every day they cherish each other, being a pillar of support in their line of work and the chaos of their lives all together.
